AWS Systems Manager Inventory is a cloud-based service that provides visibility into your AWS computing environment. With an easy to use web interface, you can collect metadata from your managed nodes and store this data in a central Amazon S3 bucket. Anytime you need to quickly determine which nodes are running the software and configurations required by your software policy, or which nodes need to be updated; all of this information is easily accessible through inventory queries.
